As with any online purchase experience, there are terms and conditions that govern the Refund Policy. When you buy a training course on, IIT Kanpur, you agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and refund policy

Price Range

At, IIT Kanpur, we have customized pricing according to the services rendered by us. The details are provided to you beforehand according to the effort, efficiency, and output of the service. Typically, the range of transactions on our website varies from INR 2000/- to 50,000/-.

Schedule of payment

Some of our services can be utilized for fixed durations. In such cases, it is clearly mentioned in the description of these services. The period of usage in these cases vary from 15 days to 1 year.

Pricing Errors

We work hard to ensure the accuracy of pricing. Despite our efforts, pricing errors may still occur. If a course's price is higher than the price displayed, we will cancel your order of that item and notify you of the cancellation.

Shopping Cart

Items in your Shopping Cart reflect the current price displayed on the item's product details page. Please note: This price may differ from the price displayed when the item was first placed in your Shopping Cart.

Our service is offered for sale by, IIT Kanpur for your personal reference and not for resale. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse to sell to any person whom we believe may be purchasing for resale.

Refunds policy

Refunds: For Online Courses

We provide a 100% net of GST and administration charges refund for our online courses if the request is raised within 5 days of the batch start date.

Note: This refund policy is updated and valid for the registrations done for the 1 July & later batches. Not for the batches started before 1 July.

To claim a refund, kindly follow the below procedure:

  1. Drop an email on with the subject “Online course refund | Registered email id”. (Please do not forget to provide the registered email id in the subject)
  2. Give a valid reason for the refund. [for our internal purpose only]
  3. In the case of combo courses & career tracks, the start dates of the complete combo will be considered, not on the course/module basis.
  4. Ensure that the email is received within five days of the batch start date. [Example: if batch starts on 15th Jul 2019, you should send the refund email on or before 20th July 2019 midnight]
  5. Refund amount calculation:
    1. 100% refund if you have consumed only the first 2 recorded lectures of the course
    2. Prorated refund in case you have consumed more than the
    3. Refund will be processed within 10 working days of receiving the refund email" first 2 lectures.

Batch shifting: Batch can be transferred to immediate next batch (Same Course), within 10 days of the batch starting date.

Cancellation & Refunds: For Classroom Training

Classroom programs are only refundable if the refund raised 10 days prior to batch commencement. Once our courses commence, we won’t be able to refund any amount. Our Customer Service Specialists are ready to assist you—simply call 1800-123-3598 between 11 am to 5 pm from Tuesday to Friday.

Paid registration fee, request 10 Days prior batch starts

  • Refund possible: GST deductible if the previous month
  • Transfer possible: Shifting can be done to online/offline courses, 10 days prior course starts.

Paid registration fee: less than 10 days left before batch start

  • Non Refundable

Paid full course fee

  • Complete fees should be submitted 7 days prior batch starts
  • At least we should have PDC on first class for the complete payment
  • The fee is neither refundable nor transferrable
  • No re-registration [Upto 5 classes they can attend in next batch]

Offline students shift to Online course

  • If Batch started
    1. On faculty recommendation: Transferrable, but difference not refundable
    2. Otherwise: Non-transferrable & Non Refundable
  • If batch not started
    1. Possible if paid less amount that online course, pay the difference
    2. Possible if paid more amount than an online course, difference refundable only if the request made 7 days prior to the offline batch start date., IIT Kanpur reserves the right to postpone/cancel an event, or change the location of an event because of insufficient enrolments, instructor illness, or force major events (like floods, earthquakes, political instability, etc.)

Refunds: Duplicate payment

Refund of the duplicate payment made by the delegate will be processed via the same source (original method of payment) in 10 working days post intimation by the customer.
