Prutor Software License Agreement
Version 1.0 | Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Grant of License
Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Prutor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Prutor online programming education platform ("Software") solely for educational purposes.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Rent, lease, or lend the Software to third parties
- Use the Software for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software
- Use the Software in violation of applicable laws or regulations
3. Intellectual Property
The Software, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Prutor and is protected by intellectual property laws. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in the Software.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of any code, submissions, or other content you create using the Software ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Prutor a non-exclusive license to use, store, and process such content for the purpose of providing the Service.
5. Academic Integrity
Users agree to:
- Submit only their own work for evaluation
- Not share access credentials with others
- Not circumvent any security measures
- Report any suspected violations to administrators
6. Privacy
Your use of the Software is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Software, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.
7. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Prutor may terminate this license at any time for any reason. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PRUTOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
9. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL PRUTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws.
